1977
Bigston Corporation, USA purchased and moved into the first Bigston-owned facility at 1380 Brummel, Elk Grove Village, IL
1979
Bigston Corporation USA moves operations to 85 Gordon Street, Elk Grove Village, IL and expands to accommodate an independent electronics service business
1982
Bigston Corporation USA becomes an independent U.S. incorporated service company
1985
Bigston establishes its first on-site customer satellite operation in Northbrook, IL
1986
Bigston becomes one of the first independent service companies to computerize NARDA forms and billing
1987
Bigston establishes two additional satellite operations in Romeoville and Bensenville, IL
1988
Bigston moves to its present facility at 1590 Touhy Avenue, Elk Grove Village, IL
1989
Bigston establishes depot operation at customer's facility in Mt. Prospect, IL
1991
Bigston develops and introduces an on-line computerized Service Processing System at its Elk Grove Village, IL facility
1993
Bigston moves part of its refurbishing operation to a 30,000 sq. ft. building at 900 Pratt Boulevard in Elk Grove Village, IL
1995
Bigston expands its Touhy Avenue facility from 45,000 sq. ft. to 65,000 sq. ft.
1997
Bigston commemorates its 25th anniversary of business. Paul Ohmae becomes president of Bigston
1999
Bigston Information Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary specializing in information and internet technologies, begins business
2000
Bigston Corporation, USA receives ISO 9002 certification
2000
The Mexican subsidiary, Bigston de Mexico S.A. de C.E., begins business
2002
Bigston Corporation receives ISO 9001:2000 certification one and one-half years ahead of requirement.
2006
Bigston Corporation is certified as a minority owned and controlled business as defined by the National Minority Supplier Development Council
2007
Bigston Corporation is certified as a minority business enterprise (MBE) under the Business Enterprise Program for Minorities, Females and Persons with Disabilities
